sure tumblr search has a growing number of unpublicised blacklisted terms and the website's design gets clunkier by the day, but at least you can have a godawful little stream watched by an audience consisting entirely of the demographic who would open tumblr and say "who's streaming right now"
I make a post like this every time I bump into one of the New Tumblr invisible walls, but you might have noticed that I never really clarify who's watching the streams
that's because I genuinely cannot grasp this demographic. why aren't they watching streams on a real streaming platform. to me, that's like meeting a guy who goes to the store just to smell the floor cleaner

Next time someone starts talking about Thylacines I want people to bring up Florida Fairy Shrimp (Dexteria floridana). Lived in Gainesville (University of Florida) but quietly got paved over at some point. No sad videos, no vocal recordings, just a few dead shrimp in the Smithsonian and these drawings. Their only fault was being too small and quiet for people to notice.
